Twelve Shades of Night

Twelve Shades of Night was written in 12 months, recorded in 12 weeks, mixed in 12 days, and was inspired by the 12 hours of night.

This new album of original compositions integrates Stevan's love of Brazilian, Spanish & American music along with bossa nova, rhumba, flamenco, classical and jazz styles. Stevan's new ensemble features the rhythmic cadences of Felix de Lola on cajon & palmas, the Latin syncopations of Colin Douglas on drums, and the lush string ensemble of the Musical Art Quintet featuring the brilliant string arranger and bassist Sascha Jacobsen.

“Guitar virtuoso, Stevan Pasero releases another outstanding album, overflowing with brilliant compositions, intense precision; a spectacular collection of instrumental guitar music”!  - RadioIndy

"Get your dance shoes on, Latin music lovers! Stevan Pasero has crafted a fine ensemble CD with himself on guitar at the center in "Twelve Shades of Night"...music that brings you into its groove and makes you smile"! - Minor 7th, Kirk Albrecht

Jambossa is Stevan's new CD (2009) and feature's 12 of his favorite jazz/Latin songs. It's performed by the Stevan Pasero Trio with John Anttila on drums and includes several upright bass players - Paul Eastburn, Sascha Jacobsen and Perry Thoorsell. Although Stevan has been playing jazz for years, and is most known for his classical and compositions, this is his first recording in this style. This is something you do not want to miss!
"LIVE" TRIO, 2009.

Solea Group & Sugo Music is pleased to announce the arrival of Stevan Pasero's "Jambossa." These are my favorite bossa, pop and jazz standards that I grew up with. I never thought that I would track an album like this"!

"Clarity and finesse that reveals his genius." – Rhapsody
“Five Stars!” – Michael Erlewine, All Music Guide
“A brash and fortunately very talented guitarist!” – Mix Magazine
"With classical guitar, the standard is generally Segovia
and perhaps John Williams, but Pasero can keep up with the greats!” – Adam Greenberg, All Music Guide
